Kanji Ishimaru made his debut in the musical “Phantom of the Opera” ; since then,
he has enjoyed his career as a star actor in the musical theater in Japan.
Currently, he expands his activites in many fields including theaters, movies, TV
dramas, commercials, narrations and reading performances.
Since his major debut as a solo vocalist in 2010, he has released 6 albums, and further broadened his musical activities as MC in Classical music TV shows as well as appearing in NHK’s beloved child program “Minna no Uta” (singing program) .
His upcoming activities include Stravinsky’s“L'Histoire du soldat” , musical “Love Never Dies”(Phantom).
